WTS was created to provide an intense 10 point wilderness style training for young men who want to walk with God and lead others to do the same.

WTS is an interdisciplinary wilderness style program, led in partnership with several ministry and wilderness leaders, creation scientists, and other Godly mentors.
Facilitators: Brent & Jennifer Bishop
Brent and Jennifer Bishop. We do ministry as a team. We love praying together daily both in worship and in seeking guidance for ministry. Bible study together with our children daily is a top priority. We can see that we have tons of growth left ahead of us and yet we know that God has given us enough wisdom, strength and power for today. Our children, Janey and David are an important part of the projects we undertake. They help in many areas and sacrifice a lot to support our family calling and mission.
Brent has spent over 20 years leading youth ministry in wilderness settings, including backpacking and sea kayaking as well as teaching wilderness skills, tree climbing, sea kayaking, risk management and wilderness leadership in a variety of coastal and mountain environments. As every year goes by He is more and more thankful for His Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, and seeks more and more of His presence. Brent has a passion for the Bible, and loves to pray. He especially enjoys partnering with other gifted leaders and teachers.
Jennifer loves the Lord and has spent more than a decade leading and encouraging OneLife’s campers and expeditioners in their faith, she enjoys pouring out the love of Jesus on them. She loves cool rocks, waterfalls, beach sunrises, and birds. Jennifer is also proficient in ASL and has a passion for deaf people and culture, ignited by serving with Signs of Christ ministries, and working for the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind. She looks forward to a future project of bringing Christian wilderness experiences to the deaf community.
